I'm an aspiring Penetration Tester
Philemon Sakpani

About Me
Cybersecurity enthusiast, relentless learner.
Learning With a Passion While Securing The Digital World.
I’m a network engineer with a passion for cybersecurity. My tenure as a Core PS engineer gave me rock-solid networking fundamentals and real-world reliability: overseeing all Core PS nodes in a telecom production environment taught me to design highly available, scalable systems and to think critically under pressure when things go sideways.
I’ve also sharpened my offensive security skills through hands-on labs and learning platforms like Hack The Box and TryHackMe. Recently, I’ve begun hunting for real-world vulnerabilities via bug-bounty programs.
What I'm working on

HackTheBox Certified Penetration Tester Specialist certification
The CPTS is a hands-on, intermediate-level certification offered by Hack The Box Academy designed for aspiring penetration testers.
CPTS covers a comprehensive set of pentesting skills, including:
Penetration testing methodologies and processes, web application and Active Directory attacks, pivoting & lateral movement, Windows/Linux privilege escalation and commercial-grade reporting

Bug Bounty Hunting
Bug Bounty Testing involves uncovering real-world vulnerabilities in web applications such as XSS, SQLi, CSRF, API misuse, and broken access controls and responsibly reporting them.
Bug bounty testing demands a mix of creative thinking, technical proficiency, and rigorous reporting.

HackTheBox Certified Bug Bounty Hunter certification
HTB Certified Bug Bounty Hunter (HTB CBBH) is a highly hands-on certification that assesses the candidates’ bug bounty hunting and web application pentesting skills.
CBBH covers the following set of skills:
Bug Bounty Hunting processes and methodologies, web application/web service static and dynamic analysis, Information gathering techniques, Web application, web service and API vulnerability identification and analysis, vulnerability communication and reporting
Work Experience

- Maintain and optimize live network core packet-switched nodes for seamless customer connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical network issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Implement security protocols and monitor systems to safeguard network data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and upgrade network solutions tailored to client
needs
